Jonathan Anderson

(He, Him) is 29

Jonathan is a co-founder of the wayOUT LGBT Foundation, which empowers LGBTQ+ youth to feel safe being who they really are. We all deserve that, no matter where we’re from. WayOUT’s aim is to change what it means to grow up as a gender or sexual minority in America.

WayOUT invests in organizations that provide life-saving resources for LGBTQ+ youth in under-resourced areas. Last year, wayOUT supported the Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC) in Alabama to create an LGBT-focused homelessness program, including hiring a full-time social worker and shelter, breaking ground in December 2018.

To date, wayOUT has raised $230k for LGBTQ+-focused causes in the South. It expanded from San Francisco to New York during 2018.

Outside of his nonprofit work, Jonathan loves tech startups. He’s working on Candu Labs, an AI-powered customer education platform, within Entrepreneur First, a leading accelerator in London. Prior to Candu, Jonathan helped scale revenue teams at InsightSquared and LaunchDarkly, two venture-backed SaaS startups.

Jonathan holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University.
