At the Forefront of LGBTQ Operations & Activism

Matt Fouracre Class of 2020 BEQ Pride LGBTQ+ Leader Under 40

(He, Him) is 28

By 2030, my work at LPAC will have helped make sure that LGBTQ women are viewed as a credible, important political constituency.

Matt is working at the forefront of LGBTQ+ political activism, currently as political operations manager for LPAC, an organization whose mission is to build the political voice of LGBTQ women. Matt is a key member of LPAC’s “small but mighty” three-person team, doing critical work in the community, especially in the context of the U.S. 2020 general election cycle. Matt previously managed client relations and public policy at Out Leadership, a global LGBT+ business network. At Out Leadership, his portfolio included overseeing client relationships globally with the firm’s cohort of almost 70 member companies in the financial services, technology, and legal and professional services sectors. Matt also led the firm’s public policy work, including developing guidelines for corporate engagement around external LGBTQ issues and recommendations for LGBTQ inclusion on corporate boards.

Since finishing grad school, Matt’s professional life has been focused on furthering LGBTQ equality. Matt participated in producing the first-ever research project aimed at exploring and enhancing LGBTQ women’s political participation. Matt also wrote a white paper, based on interviews and best practices from multinationals, explaining how companies can best promote LGBTQ rights via public policy. This paper was distributed to thousands of business leaders around the world.
