MARK DAVID GIBSON
Advice
Don’t be so hard on yourself and never be afraid to laugh out loud and dance.
Retired U.S. Air Force Captain Mark David Gibson, a decorated war veteran, has devoted his professional career to service to his country. In 2018, Mark made his debut as an author of the best-selling book, Served in Silence: The Struggle to Live Authentically, published by Publish Your Purpose Press. While writing his memoir, he found synergy in his private and professional life as the National Communications Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) LGBT Outreach initiative.
After retiring from a successful career in the U.S. Air Force, Mark continued his federal service at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). It was at the SBA where he was able to align his true authentic self and professional expertise to co-author the Harvard Award-Winning SBA program LGBT Business Builder. As a certified LGBT business, Mark successfully launched his memoir Served in Silence, detailing his struggle to live authentically, available at www.markonamazon.com.
