Jake E. Riley: A Natural Leader

We initially introduced you to Jake E. Riley (He, Him) as one of our Class of 2020 BEQ Pride LGBTQ+ Leaders Under 40. Jake Riley is an award-winning director of corporate operations at Univar Solutions, a global specialty chemical, ingredient, and solutions provider. At the core, Jake’s passion has been focused on helping individuals, teams and organizations become more productive and efficient to drive results with quantifiable impact.

When asked to look into the future, he predicted, “by 2030, social stigmas in the workplace will have been eradicated as a result of the business community’s steadfast commitment to increased training and awareness – enabling every LGBT+ employee to bring their authentic self to work each day.” Riley’s forecast for the workplace is a call to action today.

Recently our publisher, Robin Dillard, enjoyed a conversation with Riley that spanned business topics including workforce, marketplace and the public arena.
