Filmmaker & Expert Bios
NATHAN HALE WILLIAMS
President & CEO of iN-Hale Entertainment LLC, Nathan Hale Williams is a storyteller. In
traditional terms, Nathan is a Black Enterprise Magazine Modern Man of Excellence ®, a
multi-hyphenated entertainment professional, who is an award-winning filmmaker, best selling
and award-winning author, entertainment attorney, and television personality. His film, 90
DAYS, which he wrote, directed and executive produced was screened at over thirty top
international festivals receiving several “Best” awards, including, an African Movie Academy
Award (Africa’s Oscar equivalent) for Best Diaspora Short and Overall Winner, Best Actress
and the Audience Choice Award at the 2018 Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase.
Nathan is the executive producer and producer of the NAACP Image Award and GLAAD
Media Award nominated film, Dirty Laundry (FOX/Codeblack).
His other film credits include: The Ski Trip (MTV Networks), Love for Passion, Blackbird,
starring Academy Award® winner, Mo’Nique; and, Pastor Brown. His television credits include:
My Model Looks Better Than Your Model (BET), NAACP Image Award nominated, Leading
Women (Centric); Leading Men (Centric); Real Life Divas (BET-J); The American Candidate
(Showtime); Inside: Black Culture (BET); The Kimchi Chronicles (PBS) and, Girl’s Who Like
Boys…(Sundance Channel). In 2019, a dream came true when Nathan was hired to direct and
produce live action films for Sesame Street’s 49 Season, including films for Elmo’s

Wonderful World. He has directed and produced commercials for Isabella Fiore Handbags
(starring Veronica Webb), Jumpstart (starring LL Cool J) and the U.S. CDC’s “Testing Makes
Us Stronger” campaign starring the Real Housewives of Atlanta. His latest film, BURDEN,
which chronicles the micro and macro-agressions faced by men of color in America premiered
at the American Black Film Festival in June 2019. He is in post-production for the documentary,
IT CAN BE DONE: Ending Homelessness in America, which will be released in 2020.
Nathan has authored four books, Inspiration: Profiles of Black Women Changing Our World
(Abrams), the award-winning novel, Ladies Who Lunch & Love (WHyN Press); and, his
current book, The Girl’s Best Friend: A Collection of Essays on Love, Life & Sharing Your
Light (WHyN). He co-authored, What You Don’t Know IS Hurting: 4 Keys to A Phenomenal
Career, which was the #1 New Release on Amazon and is a #1 Best Seller on Amazon as well.
Nathan is a contributing author to the Keith Boykin edited book, For Colored Boys Who Have
Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Still Not Enough, which won the 2012 American
Library Association’s Stonewall Award for Non-Fiction Book of the Year and was nominated for
a Lambda Literary Award. His next book, True Diversity: Going Beyond the Pie Graph will be
released at the end of 2020.
