ROBIN DILLARD
Robin Dillard is the business equality advocate. She is also the CEO of the Business
Equality Network and the founder and publisher of the BEQ Pride magazine. With
over 25 years of experience and a passion for empowering small businesses, she is
focused on a more inclusive economic future for the LGBTQ+ community. Her
specialty is using the power of storytelling to connect diverse-owned small
businesses, leaders and professionals from the LGBTQ+ community with
opportunities within the public and private sectors and with other small businesses.
Robin (and team) use BEQ Pride to showcase, celebrate and amplify the
community’s role and contribution to American economic prosperity. She also
specializes in helping small businesses use a growth mindset and strategic
marketing to communicate who they are, what they do and why. Robin believes
people don’t buy ‘what’ you’re selling they buy into ‘why’ you’re selling and BEQ
Pride is where the LGBTQ+ community tells the world, and most importantly major
brands and corporations, why inclusion matters.
Under her leadership, the Business Equality Network and BEQ Pride magazine
concentrate on using media, marketing and business accelerator services
specifically designed empower LGBTQ, women, minorities and other
underrepresented, underserved and underutilized business communities to secure
resources and contacts to grow. The workplace, marketplace, supply chain and
philanthropic initiatives of corporate America and the government exist and are
intended to help the community. BEQ is dedicated to using cross-sector engagement
to spur economic opportunity across the community.
Robin holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University and a
Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Chatham University. She resides in Northern
NJ with her husband and teenage daughter.
