Brian Moak is an entrepreneur, a family man and a proud member of the LGBT community. Brian owns HEART Certified Auto Care, a leading auto repair shop in the Chicagoland area. Being out and proud in a typically closed-minded profession has been a challenging path, requiring him to continuously stand up to the industry status quo. He never hesitates to be honest and open about who he is, or allow labels, norms or stereotypes to define him.

It is very important to Brian to be a leader and an example within the LGBTQ community. Brian’s life is proof that you can thrive in your industry while being proud and open about who you are. Most importantly Brian has made it his mission to create a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ community in all of his shops. Auto repair shops aren’t known to be LGBTQ friendly environments, but Brian believes everyone deserves a place they can rely on where they know they will always receive honest and fair treatment.
