What do you believe is your responsibility to this moment in history?

At the moment we are living in a very uncertain and unprecedented time, we are all experiencing the challenges COVID-19 has had on our personal and professional lives. As a Commercial Real Estate Professional, my responsibility is to shift my focus from finding business solutions for my clients to helping them mitigate any damages and providing real estate expertise so that they can get back to what they do best. My intention is to provide everyone that will benefit from my knowledge the tools and education needed to move forward and prosper.

Jamie Addeo is passionate about helping LGBTQ+ business owners realize their dreams. By trade, she is a commercial real estate broker, specializing in tenant representation. By heart, Jamie is a compassionate problem-solver. She founded The Addeo Group, LLC in 2018 after spending almost a decade at Cresa New York, eventually ascending to vice president, to fill a clear gap in the market to support all aspects of education, engagement and negotiation of acquisition and disposition solutions for small diverse businesses. Addressing the complexities, potential risks and pitfalls in commercial lease negotiations is Jamie’s jam. She is dedicated to helping members of the LGBTQ+ community realize their entrepreneurial dreams of running a successful enterprise while minimizing the risks and hidden costs of lease agreements.

Jamie is an advocate for the community and she believes in and supports the vision of a thriving, economically sound and prosperous LGBTQ+ business community.  Jamie is a Fordham University Alumni Mentor for undergraduate students and a former ambassador at NGLCC-NY.
